Who are Voyomed and PHC?
Voyomed is a health tourism platform, founded by Pelin Besler, that connects patients with partner clinics and hospitals across Türkiye, including Istanbul and Marmaris. PHC (Pharma Healthcare Consultancy Ltd) is Voyomed's UK partner, so you have a UK point of contact before, during and after your trip. PHC also works with partner clinics in London.
London or Türkiye: which is right for me?
It depends on the treatment, your budget, how much time you can take off, and how you feel about travelling for treatment and recovery. London means no flights and easy follow-up visits. Türkiye means a short trip with hotel and transfers arranged. Ask us for both quotes and we'll talk you through the differences honestly.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the treatment and your individual plan. Ask for a free quote and you'll get a written breakdown of what's included, such as hotel and transfers, before you decide anything.
Is treatment abroad safe?
All surgery carries risks, wherever it happens. Take your time, ask about your surgeon's qualifications and the clinic's accreditation, make sure you understand the aftercare plan, and read the NHS guidance on treatment abroad before you book. We're always happy to answer questions.
Will my travel insurance cover it?
Standard travel insurance usually doesn't cover planned treatment abroad, or complications from it. Look for specialist medical travel insurance. The UK GHIC card doesn't cover Türkiye.
What if I have a problem after I get home?
Contact the clinic first, using the details in My trip. If it's urgent, call 111, or 999 in an emergency, and tell them you've had treatment abroad and what was done.
